Thank you so much for stopping on my website! I would love to introduce a bit about myself and most importantly tell you how I ended up in the vaginal steaming world. My name is Laura and I’m lucky to be living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with my incredibly supportive husband and my (almost 2 years old) son Leo. As a full-time mum, I am very passionate about parenting and motherhood, most days you will find me at the park with Leo, and I am embracing every minute of this job. I am also a certified yoga teacher and zenthai shiatsu practitioner. I have always had a passion for natural and alternative remedies which is why I love vaginal steaming, and want to bestow every woman with the knowledge of this forgotten healing ancient wisdom.
It all happened after I gave birth. I wasn’t even 6 weeks postpartum and already got my period back. Holy moly! I didn’t expect it that soon! It was exhausting for me to be feeding my boy, with a returned bleeding cycle (every 21 days) and not sleeping properly….it was draining! I even had to have an iron infusion. After my first few vaginal steams (about 13 months postpartum) my cycle changed to 26 days, then the following month to every 28 days! With no pain and minimal blood, my cycle had never been better. I’m looking forward to my bleed every month. I hope that every woman can say this after practising steaming. I was and continue to be amazed by the power of vaginal steaming.
I have completed my vaginal steaming facilitator certification with Steamy Chick (the largest vaginal steaming supplier in the USA and probably in the world). I am also completing a Postpartum and a Preparing For Birth course. Hoping to start helping women not only with periods but most importantly before and after birth.
If you have any questions I will be super happy to chat about it.
Happy steaming!
Laura

Behind the Herbs and Steam steaming gowns
Karen Kruger
I met Karen while studying Zenthai Shiatsu in 2017. We both live in Peregian so we would share a ride and nice conversations on our way to and from classes. She soon became my very good friend and I'm so grateful for her. She has fully supported me from the moment I shared my dream to start Herbs and Steam. Karen not only makes the beautiful steam gowns but also converts my Czech-English so that all that I write here actually makes some sense. Not always an easy job :D
Thank you Karen for helping me with it all.
